TRIANGLE provides an essential training framework that supports graduate students, research fellows, and early career faculty in maximizing their potential through a curriculum focused on the development of career and professional skills and supported by a diverse College of Mentors.

TRIANGLE is designed to assist you in developing the skills you need to pursue and succeed in your chosen career, whatever and wherever that career is.

Since the TRIANGLE curriculum is driven by the needs of our awardees and its development is led by our graduate students, research fellows, and early career faculty, you can expect to see the opportunities and events listed here change frequently.

TRIANGLE training workshops and programs focus on the skills and knowledge that students, fellows, and ECRs aren’t getting, or didn’t get, in their graduate and postdoctoral classrooms and labs.

<aside> 💡 New applicants to TRIANGLE should think broadly about how TRIANGLE will support their development toward their research and career goals, keeping in mind that

a) essential and general research skills training will remain the responsibility of your home lab/organization

b) if you need training or experiences not listed below to meet your research and/or career goals, you will have the opportunity to co-build them with the support and expertise of TRIANGLE leadership and your TRIANGLE colleagues. So don’t hesitate to note them in your application!
